We Tested the 7 Brightest Flashlights Money Can Buy - One Completely Destroyed the Competition
After 40+ hours of real-world testing across 7 top-rated high-lumen flashlights, the results weren't even close. Here's what we found.

“Never seen anything like this. It rewrites what a handheld flashlight can do.”
If you've ever tried to buy a serious flashlight online, you know the problem: every listing claims to be "the brightest." Fake lumen counts, exaggerated beam distances, and cheap builds that die after a month. We were tired of it.
So we got our hands on seven of the most hyped high-output flashlights on the market right now - from well-known brands to newer challengers - and put them through a rigorous head-to-head. We tested raw brightness, beam throw, battery life, build quality, heat management, and real-world usability.
Here's the honest breakdown.

We didn't expect much from a brand we hadn't covered before. But within seconds of clicking the TI36 on at full power, every tester in the room went silent. 200,000 lumens in a handheld form factor - that's 100 car headlights. The beam punches out to over 5,300 feet, verified in open-field testing. What separates the TI36 is the combination of raw power and practicality: compact, multiple brightness modes, solid rechargeable battery system, and build quality that feels like a tool, not a toy. At $89.95 it delivers performance that rivals lights costing 5-7x more. The only problem? It keeps selling out.

@Ashley 100% real. I was skeptical too but ordered one anyway. It arrived in 3 days and it's genuinely the brightest thing I've ever held. Already ordered another one for my brother

@Scott dude YES get it!! I got mine last Tuesday and it's amazing. My buddy ordered 2 more after he saw mine. The price is crazy low right now
The MS18 has been the go-to "world's brightest" recommendation for a while. 100,000 lumens is no joke, and the build quality reflects the premium price. But at $670 with a significantly bulkier form factor, it's hard to justify when the TI36 doubles its output at a quarter of the price. Runs uncomfortably hot on turbo after 5 minutes. Still excellent - but dethroned.

Acebeam consistently delivers quality. The X75 has an excellent beam profile with great throw-flood balance and outstanding build. But 80K lumens at $400 puts it in a tough spot against the TI36's specs-per-dollar. If Acebeam is your brand, you won't be disappointed - but it's hard to recommend over our top pick.

A well-rounded tactical light popular in the EDC community. Compact, reliable, and great battery life. At 6,000 lumens it's nowhere near the top contenders in raw output, but it's a solid workhorse for everyday carry. Just outclassed in this particular comparison.
Fenix lights are tanks. The LR80R is well-built and feels indestructible with impressive throw at 3,700+ feet. The downside is the size - essentially a small lantern - and the price. At $480 for 18K lumens, the value just doesn't hold up against newer options.

Olight's flagship. 25,000 lumens with a clean beam, solid build, and magnetic charging - a nice touch. But at $550, you're paying a significant brand premium. Throw distance of 2,690 feet is respectable but falls short of the top three. A good light, not a great value.

A dedicated thrower that sacrifices flood for maximum beam distance at 5,085 feet. If pure throw is all you care about, it's worth considering. But at only 4,848 lumens with a pencil-thin beam, practical usability is limited. Niche pick for distance enthusiasts only.
Excellent throwVery low lumen outputNarrow beam only
The Verdict
It's not even close. The EMIONO TI36 delivers 200,000 lumens - double the next closest competitor - at a fraction of the price. The beam throw of 5,308 feet is best-in-class, the build quality holds up, and the compact form factor means you can actually carry it. At its current promotional price, nothing else on this list comes close to matching the performance-per-dollar.
If you're serious about finding the most powerful flashlight available right now, the TI36 is the only answer. The current sale has it at just $89.95 - once these units sell out, the price goes back up to $199.95 per unit (or it goes out of stock entirely). We've seen it happen twice already.

I'm an electrician and use flashlights every single day. Bought the TI36 to replace my $400 Acebeam and honestly? It's better. Way brighter, better battery life, and less than half the price. I feel stupid for not switching sooner
