Look at what is actually carrying the weight
Two shoulder straps and one band that pulls tightest at your sides. Four narrow strips of fabric, an inch wide each — and every ounce of hold your body needs is concentrated into those four places.
All the weight. Four narrow points.
Two shoulders and two sides take the entire load. That is exactly where the grooves, the red lines and the digging show up — because that is where all of it is going.
The same weight. Spread across all of you.
Shoulders, ribs, sides and waist share the load across hundreds of square inches instead of four narrow ones. No single point carries it, so no single point has anything to dig into.
Same weight. Nowhere for it to concentrate — and nothing to unhook at five o'clock, because nothing has been digging in since nine.
Why nothing you have tried has worked
Look at the usual fixes through that lens.
- Go up a band size. Looser band, less digging — for about a week. Still four points
- Buy a soft bralette. Comfortable for three hours, then everything has flattened. Still four points
- Buy a more expensive bra. Better fabric, nicer finishing, a fitter who knows her trade. Still four points
- Give up on bras entirely. Genuinely comfortable — until the doorbell rings. No support at all
Every one of those changes the materials. Not one of them changes the architecture.
Women who stopped fighting with bras

It holds me up, and I stopped checking
I told my sister it would go straight back, because everything wireless I have tried in twenty years went flat within a week. This did not. I wore it to my nephew's wedding, eleven hours in a silk blouse, and I never once went to the ladies' to hitch anything up. That is the part I cannot get over — I stopped checking. I have four now. Take more than one the first time, because you will come back for them anyway.

Nothing shows through, not even white
I have a white linen shirt I had given up on. Every bra I own printed through the back of it — the clasp, the band, all of it. I put this on underneath and looked in the mirror from three angles and there was nothing. My daughter asked what I had done differently. She ordered two that same evening. If you own one white blouse you have stopped wearing, this is the reason to try it.

Mornings got fifteen minutes shorter
It sounds like nothing until you count it. Bra, then a camisole because the bra shows, then the top, then back to the mirror to fix a strap. Now I step into one thing and put a blazer over it and I am done. I have five, one for each weekday, and the laundry basket is simpler than it has been in years. I only wish I had ordered more than one to start.

The straps are the whole point
I am broad through the shoulders and every strap I have ever worn has left two red grooves by four in the afternoon. These are wide and flat and they sit rather than cut. I noticed at the end of the first day that I had nothing to rub. That was the moment I ordered three more. For anyone whose problem has always been the shoulders — this is the one to try.

I was fuller busted and doubtful
I wear a 38DD and I have made peace with a lot of bad options. I expected to be flattened, because that is what compression things do. It lifts instead, and it holds the shape all day without squashing anything. No back closure to fight with at seven in the morning. I ordered the black to test it and two weeks later I had nude, coffee and wine red as well.

It washes exactly the same
My worry was the wash. Everything stretchy I have owned came out of the machine a size bigger and never went back. Cool cycle, hung it over the door, and it looks like the day it arrived — and the padding is still in its pockets, which never happens. At seventy-six I have earned the right to be comfortable, and I am not going back to hooks. Buy several.

It smooths everything and I do not need a bra underneath. I have worn it four days this week.

The support is real — it holds its shape all day and there is not one bra line showing.

After 50 years of fighting with bras, I finally just get dressed. I bought one, then ordered five more.

Measure over a thin layer, keeping the tape level and snug but not tight.
Most built-in bra tanks are bad. We would rather you heard it from us.
The shops are full of them at eight or ten dollars, and most are useless — a single thin layer of jersey sewn across the chest, a shelf bra in name only. Women buy one, find they still need a bra underneath, and reasonably conclude the whole idea does not work.
The idea works. Thin fabric does not. Spreading a load takes structure to spread it with, and three things separate a real one from a ten-dollar one.
- 1 A genuine double layer Two full layers of fabric through the bust — not a strip of lining sewn across the front. This is the part that actually holds.
- 2 Padding that is sewn in Partially secured to the garment, so it cannot rotate, bunch at the edges, or come out in the wash and vanish.
- 3 Length, and side anchoring Cut past the hip, with the support anchored at the sides rather than crossing the back — which is what stops the hem rolling up when you walk.
The Sculpt Tank is built around those three — four-way stretch, no wire, no hooks, and no back closure of any kind.
Why nothing else has worked
Every alternative in this category changes the materials. Only one of them changes the architecture.

Questions women ask us
Does it really hold a fuller bust?
Yes — and this is the question we get most, so here is the honest version. The cups are moulded and structured, not a soft lining sewn across the front, and the bust panel is two full layers rather than one. That is what does the holding.
The support is anchored at the sides instead of crossing your back, so the load spreads along the ribcage rather than hanging off two straps. Women through a D and DD cup tell us it feels like a very good bralette with considerably more lift. If you normally need an underwire for all-day shape, it will feel different — supportive and soft rather than structured and firm.
Which size should I order?
Your usual size. The knit stretches in four directions and returns to shape, so it does not need to be sized down to feel snug.
If you are between two sizes, the deciding question is what you want from it. Want a smoother, lighter hold and an easier pull-on? Take the larger. Want firmer shaping through the middle? Take the smaller. If you would rather work from measurements, the size finder above converts a bra size, and the full chart is further down the page.
Can I take the padding out?
Yes. Each pad slides out of a sewn-in pocket in a couple of seconds and slides back just as easily — no unpicking, no hunting for a gap in the seam.
Leave them in for a rounder, more defined shape under a fitted top. Take them out for a softer, natural line under a jumper. Because the pocket is stitched into the garment, the pads cannot rotate, bunch at the edge, or disappear in the wash — which is the usual failure with removable padding.
Will it show under a fitted top?
No. There is no back closure, no hooks and no elastic band, so there is nothing rigid to print through the fabric.
The two places a bra normally shows are the clasp between the shoulder blades and the band across the ribs. Neither exists here. The hem is cut past the hip so it stays flat instead of rolling into a ridge at the waist, and the double layer through the bust keeps it opaque even in the lighter colours.
How do I wash it, and will it lose its shape?
Cool machine wash, inside out, on a gentle cycle. Hang to dry.
Two things shorten the life of any stretch garment: heat and fabric softener. The dryer breaks down the elastane, and softener coats the fibres so the knit stops springing back. Skip both and it keeps its shape. The pads stay in their pockets through the wash, so nothing needs taking out first.
Can I mix colours and sizes in one bundle?
Yes — every item in a bundle has its own colour and size selector, so a four-pack can be four different colours, four different sizes, or any combination.
Most women order one nude for pale shirts, one black for everything else, and use the remaining picks to try a colour. If you are unsure between two sizes, ordering one of each inside the same bundle is the cheapest way to settle it — you keep the one that fits and exchange the other.
What if it is not right for me?
You have 30 days from delivery, and you are meant to actually wear it.
Trying it on for two minutes in front of a mirror tells you almost nothing about a built-in bra — the only real test is a full day. So wear it, wash it, wear it again. If it is not the best-fitting top you own, email us inside the 30 days and we will refund you in full. If the size is simply wrong, we exchange it and you keep the first one until the replacement arrives.
The problem was never you. It was four narrow straps.
Spread that same weight across your whole torso and there is nothing left to dig in, nothing to hitch back up, and nothing to race home and take off.
- Nothing to unhook the second you walk through the door
- Nothing to hitch back up in the middle of a conversation
- Nothing printing through the back of your blouse
XS through 6XL, in seven colours. Most women order a second once they know the size works — so right now the second one is on the house.
